The idea is by Gianfranco Licheri, who tells us how VisitApp was born: “I had to leave for a job but I had not been able to arrange urgent visits for me and my mother yet. I couldn’t go directly to the clinic and, on the phone, the waitings were so long and unnerving. I said to myself: why is it so simple to book a trip to the other side of the world and it’s so complicated to book a medical visit in my city?”.
And what was the answer?
“Because there isn’t a dedicated app, there wasn’t nothing in the field of medical bookings in this world where everything – or almost – works through an app. So I started talking about it with a developer, who is the current developer of VisitApp, and I finally convinced myself of the goodness of this idea when, after the meeting with important companies in the industry, everyone told me that an app like this was what was missing. I realized I was facing a possible revolution in clinical-hospital bookings. I could give a great and concrete benefit to the people”.
How?
“Today the most precious asset is time, and you lost it in the queues, on the phone and in an office. How many times have we waited before having an answer to our requests? VisitApp was born above all of this, to make the relationship between the clinics and the patient simpler and more direct, with full mutual satisfaction”.
And how is it work?
“VisitApp is an easy-to-use application. The patient downloads it, logs in after receiving a validation text message and can start to get in touch with the affiliated clinics. Does VisitApp require a training job in the clinic?
“Not at all. The focus of the work is developed by e-mail. Then there are several performance loading steps (numeric fields, text fields, date), but the procedure is so easy that it can be followed by those who do not have specific skills in the web. It’s so good!”.
Well, one last question: one of the most sensitive issues is the data protection. How do VisitApp manage them?
“Each clinic receives a unique key. In this way, you can only log into your own data in order to create, read and update services and reservations. The operations that can be executed are related to the possibility of retrieving information about appointments and related updates.
